Jennifer L. Thompson offers family mediation to parents who would like to create a co-parenting plan that serves the best interests of the children. Mediation is an opportunity for parents to have the most control over their futures and avoid the emotional and financial cost of litigation. You do not need a court order to attend mediation. All you need is two parents who are ready, willing, and able to come to the table to discuss matters relating to allocation of parental responsibilities for decision-making and parenting time (formerly known as custody and visitation) with the goal of reaching an agreement that works for the children and the parents moving forward.
